An exciting new role in defence industry has become a requirement for my client who specialises in manufacturing and designing electro-mechanical products for the Aerospace and Marine sectors. They are in need of a Customer Support Services Manager; the role is very important to the business as you will be required to maintain and look for continuous improvement within the existing service provisions and the structure and processes of the company.

The Role - Customer Support Services Manager - West Sussex

  • Lead the technical service team both in office and out ensuring the customer requirements are met
  • Continue to develop key relationships with customer both locally and internationally
  • Coordinate the Field Service Engineer regarding site visits, training, maintenance, and breakdowns
  • Manage the customer equipment repairs processes
  • Develop ILS/CLS plans to support bidding activity
  • First point of contact of any technical queries with the customers
  • Manage and support any technical publications and documentation such as training manuals, parts list and technical drawings/schematics
  • Create a CLS/ILS management plan to include risk management

Skills/Experience - Customer Support Services Manager - West Sussex

  • Have previous experience in managing a CLS/ILS function in engineering/manufacturing company
  • Strong technical engineering knowledge
  • Background knowledge in DRACAS/FRACAS
  • Be familiar with creating and delivering ILS/CLS plans to support the customer
  • Excellent communication skills be able to effectively maintain customer relationships
  • Be able to obtain UK security clearance
