Job description
We are looking for a Cyber Auditor, primarily to undertake assessments for Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and GDPR, delivering and managing the end to end accreditation process all year round, as well as building relationships with clients and maintaining the high quality of work expected. You will help shape the direction of the department and make ongoing improvements to our Cyber Essentials offerings. The role will require regular travel to client sites, and high levels of customer service and communication. Other aspects of cybersecurity consulting will be involved as they emerge.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering onsite Cyber Essentials work within the UK
Delivering technical assessments
Designing and documenting the appropriate delivery processes and procedures and providing any supporting materials required
Training colleagues to carry out the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus onsite tests
Making decisions on test specification interpretation or, where appropriate, referring questions to Accreditation Bodies for clarification
Implementing any changes to the test specification into Xcina's current delivery processes
Working on other cybersecurity consulting projects
Key skills
IASME (or equivalent) qualified
Delivery of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation's
Confidence in talking to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional certifications would be a plus
Sound knowledge of networking principles
Good working knowledge of common vulnerabilities and ability to accurately explain their consequences and potential remediation
Excellent practical knowledge of Windows, MacOs and Linux operating system
Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience
