Mechanical CAD Designer / Draughtsman

Higher end of salary advertised is for experienced Draughsman, senior role.
Do you want to work for a well established global Aerospace firm who continues to secure orders for their unique product ? If so they are looking for an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer / Draughtsman who will be responsible for generating engineering drawings suitable to manufacture. Working as part of a successful team you will be working on award winning products that customers have used and continue to for nearly a century.

Working for a company with an excellent reputation you will be generating engineering drawings from CAD models, ensuring data is full defined, producing, modifying and updating 3D models, detail adn assembly drawings inline with approved changes. Working with like minded individuals you will liaise with the Production Engineering Dept to ensure datum and tolerence schemes are aligned with requirements.

Senior CAD Designer skills needed:
+ Generating engineering drawings from CAD models
+ Good understanding in the application of GD&T
+ Good experience in machined components and tolerance analyses
+ Knowledge and application of Mechanical engineering
+ Thorough software expertise including 3D CAD modelling
