This project provides a managed service to the customer in the form of the Enterprise Desktop Service. My client have been tasked with ensuring they provide update and maintenance cycles for all the customer systems in scope at a frequency which has been pre-determined as per the SOW. The update cycles relate to Windows and Apple Operating Systems and include the delivery of patches, image releases, GPO releases and new and updates to application packages.

Required Skills :

Organised and methodical approach - Excellent time keeping skills - Ability to provide clear and concise updates - Excellent people skills - Proactive - Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Powerpoint)

Other:

* Manage the image updates and patching cycle for systems under their control

* Work according to / assist in producing a schedule of activities for all systems in scope

* Direct technical resources in delivering updates according to the schedule

* Escalate any issues to the Enterprise Desktop Service Operational Manager

* Produce status updates in the form of daily/weekly reporting

* Attend daily meetings

* Manage sprint content in Customer's Jira implementation

* Work closely with the Enterprise Desktop Service Change and Release Management Team to ensure all work is covered by RFCs/Tasks

* Work closely with the Enterprise Desktop Service Test Team to ensure all changes are tested successfully

* Work closely with customer resources where required to capture requirements and provide status updates

* Produce meeting minutes

* Monitor and manage holiday bookings

* Coordinate team events
