DevOps Engineer

Surrey based with Hybrid working

Salary range between £40,000 and £50,000

Our client, a Global Defence organisation are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer due to continued growth. Within this role you'll work within an Agile environment covering a range of technologies in order to provide solutions for our client's international customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implementation

• Systems Administration

• Monitor Security, System Patching and Internal network connectivity

• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Software and Test teams in order to deploy and provide availability of VMs, automate building product artefacts and deploy automated test execution

• Manage and maintain the deployment and development of Windows platforms

• Manage and maintain Jenkins jobs

Key experience / Skills

• CI / CD pipeline experience

• Ability to Build applications using Jenkins

• Build custom scripts to automate tasks using Ansible, Node.js or Java

• Source code management

• Systems Administration experience of Linux and Windows Operating Systems

• Proficient in automating tasks using Ansible and Terraform

• Experience of administering Virtualised or Containerised systems in VMWare and Docker
