DevOps Engineer

+ 4-5 month initial contract
+ Gloucester based with some work from home
+ £550 to £650 per day
+ Inside IR35

The Role:
You will be joining a high-performing agile scrum team. There are unique challenges to our work. The requirements, the technologies and the problems we are solving can change at short notice. We need people who are pragmatic, who can adapt as situations evolve, who enjoy new experiences and always want to learn new things.
The successful candidate will be in a senior role in the DevOps sub-team, working on client site 3-4 days a week, with the option to WFH for the remaining time

Key duties and responsibilities -
1. Developing applications in either Java or Go
2. Strong skills in Linux command line, Git, Ansible, SQL
3. Looks to build quality into the solution at every step with a focus for continually improving

Required skills for this role -
1. Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
2. Familiar with Agile approach and software engineering practices including Continuous Integration and Delivery
3. An approachable personality: An open, collaborative and professional demeanour is essential. Many of our roles involve working directly with our clients.
