Build Engineer - DV Cleared

Target Rate: £500 a day

IR35 Determination: Inside IR35

Clearance: DV Clearance required

Location: Basingstoke

Duration: 6 Months initially + extensions

Build Engineer: You will join a blue chip consultancy supporting the MoD. The role will see you maintain multiple environments and provide support and technical input to various teams on the programme.

The role will see you involved in:

• Installation and environment maintenance

• Problem investigation and resolution

• Hardware and software integration

• Documentation authoring

Your skills and experience:

• Experience of working in a secure environment, deploying and supporting IT infrastructures

• In-depth knowledge of VMware Virtualisation, Windows server and client versions

• Broad understanding of MS product suite

• Experience of integration of different software solutions on various hardware platforms

• Be able to demonstrate a high-level understanding of Management Tools

• IP / Firewall technologies

• Azure DevOps

• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)

• Borland Application suite

• Databases
