Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer
A cutting-edge Aerospace & Defence organisation are recruiting an Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer. The EC&I Engineer will be responsible for all elements of functional safety including EC&I and delivery of actions to satisfy HSE requirements. You would be responsible for complex control systems and we welcome applications from candidates with a safety critical background.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities - Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer - EC&I
Responsible for delivery of functional safety package of works.
Responsible for leading all electrical controls and instrumentation works.
Responsible to deliver all actions required and ensuring all plant and equipment is at the required legislative standards.
Working closely with production engineering and procurement to ensure new plant is of required standard.
Responsible for ensuring new and old equipment used in explosive atmospheres are of the correct standards.
Assisting the Maintenance teams with Level 3 fault finding support as required
Qualifications and Experience - Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer - EC&I
Experience in the field of EC&I engineering, particularly managing the functional safety lifecycle.
Strong electrical design background with knowledge of instrumentation
Sound knowledge of EC&I engineering and design.
Strong knowledge of EC&I engineering and design, fundamental knowledge of the other disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Process, Automation and Civil)
