Description

An Electronic Engineer is required by an innovative market leader in the field of Scientific Instrumentation technology. This global company work on truly cutting edge equipment and are looking to grow their Electronic Engineering capability to continue their product development.

Role: Electronic Engineer

As Electronic Engineer you will be responsible for:

+ Assisting senior electronics engineers in product design, including aspects of Analogue, Digital, RF and Embedded software design
+ Working with colleagues to develop products to agreed specifications
+ Utilising the latest tools for modelling, simulation and design
+ Provide CAD data for manufacturing printed circuit boards
+ Recommending new tools and techniques that will continue to improve product quality and the development process
+ Providing technical support to instrument development teams, manufacturing, project managers and customers
+ Providing appropriate documentation to facilitate the work of colleagues


Experience:

As Electronic Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or other relevant discipline
+ Ability in CAD, including schematic entry and possibly PCB design

+ Electronic principles for both hardware and software including firmware
+ Design techniques/methodologies
+ Strong understanding of product development lifecycle
+ Good computer literacy

+ Experience with test and diagnostics would be an advantage
