Equipment Engineering Team Lead: You will be a key member of the Engineering team in charge of sustaining, improving and troubleshooting critical wafer fabrication manufacturing equipment. Able to coach and mentor the Equipment Team, maximising performance and ensuring objectives are aligned to strategic business objectives.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ownership of a defined toolset - identified as site level expert - own/share tool recovery plans
  • Drive OEE improvement through baseline equipment analysis
  • Lean manufacturing: identifying opportunities to eliminate waste within multiple toolsets.
  • Deputise for department manager
  • To manage cross training of Equipment Technicians and Engineers. Ensure adequate skills/knowledge are always distributed across all manufacturing areas. Define specific areas of ownership
  • Responsible for mentoring employees for personal development, career progression, appraisals and compliance with company procedures

Your Attributes:

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Scientific/Engineering discipline
  • Detailed knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing equipment. In-depth electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge
  • Strong training skills and technical familiarity with product and equipment
  • Familiar with modern manufacturing concepts such as: KANBAN, SPC, TQM, TPM, 6S
  • Experienced in driving continuous improvement activities and projects
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience
