Key Skills:

+ Architect, design and technical leadership of work to implement secure messaging services based on Exchange and Outlook.

+ Develop & document high level design using given methodology (SAFe), tools and templates.

The Role:

Support enterprise architects in developing programme-wide architecture and meeting objectives of Preliminary Design Review (PDR).

Provide an outline plan of the project to the Scrum Master e.g. key objectives of a series of sprints, dependencies, etc.

Analyse requirements, policies, standards, and other constraints. Flag up omissions or inconsistencies and seek resolution.

Develop and document high level design using given methodology (SAFe), tools and templates.

Give direction and support to the engineers building and testing the design.

Required Skills:

+ Previous experience of IT architecture and design on large programmes. Experience of agile and waterfall methodologies (e.g. SAFe), tools and templates used on such programmes.

+ Previous experience of working in highly secure environments.

+ Able to read and appreciate the consequences of large volumes of documentation including requirements, policies, standards, etc.

+ Able to liaise effectively with customer representatives.

+ Able to liaise effectively with other areas of the programme e.g. enterprise architects, programme management office (PMO), other towers with which the project will have to interface (e.g. Security, Service Management, Hosting), System Test), subcontractors and vendors.
