Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Technical skills: Facilities / Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services / 18th Edition Wiring
A global Engineering company require a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for the organisation and coordination of non-production maintenance activities across Buildings, Grounds and Infrastructures to ensure they are maintained to a high standard and provide a safe environment for employees and visitors.
Supervising a team of Facilities Technicians you will be responsible for the day to day direction of the site maintenance team along with external sub-contractors to complete maintenance in an effective manner. You will have a strong background in Health and Saftey, risk assessment and method statements. Facilities you would be responsible for include:
- Heating, Ventilation & Air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, gas detections, chillers and compressors
- Compressed air systems
- Power and lightening
- Fire detection and alarm systems
- Building fabric / structure
- Grounds management
Skills needed to be considered for this position include:
+ 5+ years in a mechanical & electrical building service / facilities maintenance Supervisory role
+ HND / HNC or equivalent in Engineering / Construction related discipline
+ Experience of managing and evaluating subcontractors
+ Proactive and able to plan and deliver improvements initiatives.
+ Use of hand tools and testers
+ Full Clean Driving Licence
+ Ideally Certified IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
