Facilities Manager - Hazardous Environment

An opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join an evolving Engineering company that operate in a cutting edge environment, working with components and hazardous materials, so strong regulations and compliance knowledge is needed.
You will ensure that the buildings meet H&S requirements and that the facility complies with applicable legislation. Working on an R&D and production site you will ensure all facilities and equipment maintenance and inspection tasks are appropriately scheduled and completed whilst planning for future developments including the preparation of documents to issue tenders to contractors.
As an experienced Facilities Manager you will have knowledge of applicable laws and building codes, safety legislation and approved codes of practice. Managed subcontractors and an understanding of H&S compliance. Ideally worked in a production environment with a haazardous nature (desirable).
This is a new role created within the division which offers an exciting proposition for the Facilities Manager to showcase their knowledge and skills whilst shaping the role.
