Facilities Manager - Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical Industry

+ Provide engineering, technical and business direction in the specification, planning, installation and testing of Facilities equipment, cleanroom and R&D labs. Create project plans (scope, schedule, cost estimates, project acceptance criteria, etc.) for cleanroom modifications.
+ Ensure site facility needs are aligned with overall manufacturing capacity and employee wellness requirements. Through regular review(S and OP) ensure needs are planned and delivered in line with required equipment and capacity needs. Improve short and long term facilities and equipment strategies to achieve process production, quality, safety and financial metrics. Collaborate and interface with and support R&D and Fab Equipment Engineering teams on new product introductions, process enhancements, process changes, and facility design modifications. Ensure all engineering related activities are conducted in accordance with established design and regulatory procedures.
+ Be an advocate and role model for safety; ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and compliant with environmental regulations. Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to optimize facilities systems reducing operational costs. Documenting Design Changes, Specifications, SOP, and process changes. Support manufacturing on multiple shift schedules in a fast paced production environment 24x7.
+ Collaborate with the operations staff on various mission critical facilities in Cleanroom and R&D environment. Ensure that all Facilities Outsource Vendor/Contractors follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and perform daily in a well-planned executed fashion to meet the KPIs for the operations and facilities.

+ Will develop novel solutions to new and existing problems to ensure the safety of our employees, fostering the trust of our employees and management.
+ Must ensure the continued, safe and reliable operations of the Cleanrooms and R&D sites.
+ Must manage the Facilities Department in a cost-effective fashion in accordance with the approved annual budget and the site's requirements.
+ Interfaces with the management for financial, contract, and customer strategies of the facility.
+ Communicates Service Levels, objectives and expectations to all.
+ Participate in an equipment reliability program by trending problems, performing proactive risk analysis, modifying equipment, improving and strengthening the PM and technical specifications programs.
+ Establishes and improves written procedures for the daily operations, repair, maintenance and projects of the facility systems.
+ Manage contractors; specifications, issues, performance and Service Levels in Cleanroom facilities.
