FAIRS Inspector - Supplier Quality Assurance

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced FAIRS Inspector within Supplier Quality to provide support to the Supply Chain for robust completion of detail and assembly FAIRs prior to submission. Responsible for FAIR status reporting both internally and to the supply base and the main link between Goods In inspection and the Supply base.

Operating in the Defence and Aerospace Engineering sector you will be able to show case a high level of attention to detail, strong judgement and decision making whilst being a team player. Experience will include:

+ Previous work with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) within a large Aerospace manufacture

+ Detailed knowledge and application of AS910

+ Previous experience of working with and supporting Suppliers

+ Numerical and geometry skills

+ Broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and use of 2 and 3 D images

+ Experience of using inspection tools and equipment

+ Inspection of certification of conformity, FAIR AS 9102, dimensional and phyiscal attributes

+ Working knowledge of GDT
