Up to £30,000

Covering Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, South Coast (can live in any of these areas)

One of the UK's leading contractors specialising in the service, repair and maintenance of petrol forecourt equipment are seeking a field service engineer to cover the Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire areas and occasionally down to the South Coast.

This is a great opportunity to work in a niche industry for a stable company who pride themselves in the growth and development of their employees, and who are willing to train those with no industry experience!

Key accountabilities:

• Service, repair, fault finding and maintenance on petrol forecourt related equipment

• Diary and route planning

• Ensure work equipment and vehicle is maintained to company policy

• Preventative maintenance inspections

• Travelling to customer sites to perform the necessary work on fuel pumps and tank gauges

• Stock control

Package:

• Up to £30,000

• 40 hour week (Monday - Friday) door to door

• Every 1 in 3 weeks you will be required to work a Saturday and be on-call for the Sunday

• Overtime paid outside standard hours at x1.5 and Sundays & Bank Holiday x2

• Company van (business use only)

• 28 days holiday

• Statutory Pension

Experience required:

• Any engineering experience, mechanical or plumbing/pipework experience beneficial

• Experience working outdoors or willingess to do so

• Experience travelling as part of a field based role

• Excellent customer facing service skills

• Strong communication both written and verbal

• Proficient IT skills
