A national, highly repuatable organisation specialising in the installation, service, repair and maintenance of complex healthcare equipment, are seeking an experienced service engineer to join their expanding team (NO previous experience required in this field!).

Key accountabilities: - FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

• Service, repair and maintain a range of their healthcare equipment such as patient hoists, baths, beds, shower trolleys, changing plinths, scales and various others.
• Respond to breakdowns
• Carry out installations of new equipment
• Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance at all times in line with company health & safety
• Build and maintain customer relationships ensuring a high level of service
• Experience/skills required:
• Strong electro-mechanical fault finding and repair expertise
• Good level of health
• Full UK driving license
• Flexible to travel and stay away as and when required
• Knowledge and experience in the area of electrical or electronics
• Customer focused
• Excellent communication

Package/benefits: - FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

• Salary of £27,750 p/a with a £500 p/a. increase at the successful conclusion of the initial 3 month probationary period.
• A monthly turnover-related bonus which would apply from month 4 (or on successful conclusion of probationary period). An average of £250 per month.
• 28 days paid holiday per annum with the facility to 'buy' an additional 6 days if desired
• A contributory pension scheme
• 40 hours basic Monday to Friday. Some overtime would be expected/required in the interests of efficient working, and is paid at time and a half. Any weekend working would be agreed with the engineer in advance.
• Nights away will be necessary; for this a taxable overnight allowance of £50 and a tax free meal allowance of £30. Arrangement and pay for accommodation
