Field Service Engineer - Medical Systems
£30,000 - £35,000 + bonus, company car, paid overtime + MORE!
Territory - Oxfordshire, across to the M1, down to the M4, Gloucestershire and occasional travel to Wales
A leading manufacturer of specialist medical systems are seeking an experience electro-mechanical field service engineer to cover the Oxfordshire and surround areas, but will also include some travel into Wales.
You would be responsible for the installation, service, repair and maintenance of specialist cardiac equipment such as heart bypass machines, balloon pumps etc. Full training is provided for those engineers without any exposure to this type of equipment.
Key accountabilities - Field Service Engineer:
+ Provide outstanding customer service, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills in a profession manner
+ Service, repair and maintain cardiac equipment
+ Carry out routine testing of equipment to the relevant standards as stated in terms and conditions of the client's contract
+ Carry out electrical/mechanical fault finding of equipment.
+ Calibrate equipment as and when necessary
+ Maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts within guidelines.
+ Produce quality documentation for submission to the customer via approved systems.
+ Maintain regular communication with the internal Service Department.
+ Ensure the company equipment is being used and looked after correctly and that it is kept in a safe condition. To report all faulty equipment or equipment out of calibration to Service Supervisor.
+ Pass all sales leads to the Service/Sales Manager
+ Provide sales leads to Service/Sales Manager.
+ As and when required, produce written reports
+ Accurately submit completed expense claim forms, with supportive documentation, on time.

+ Starting salary - £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
