Field Service Engineer
Up to £35,000 + benefits
Monday - Friday, 42.5 hrs per week including travel
Must be located along the M6 between Crewe/Manchester
A highly reputable, leading organisation specialising in medical technology are seeking a well-rounded field service engineer who has a broad range of electrical and mechanical skills.

An organisation manufacturing cutting edge technology within the medical industry, creating solutions for diagnostics and the treatment in ophthalmology and microsurgery.
Key accountabilities - Field Service Engineer - Northern England
Covering a territory from the Midlands up to the North West/North East, you will provide technical services and support to customers and colleagues regarding company products and solutions. Capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, whilst being focussed on and fulfilling the customer's requirements and expectations.
Repairing, installing, and servicing medical technology equipment and software solutions
Accurately diagnosing and resolving technical issues relating to equipment and software applications
Competence in delivering remote service to diagnose or repair
Accurately diagnosing and resolving technical issues relating to IT networks, servers,
cloud based technologies and solutions
Providing technical support to colleagues and customers
Supporting product / solution lifecycle management from site survey through to decommissioning
Product and software modifications, updates, FCA's etc
Able to travel and stay away, to ensure works are carried out in the most efficient way
Communicate effectively with 2nd level support to ensure issues are reported effectively and resolved quickly, sharing knowledge with 2nd level and local engineers
Manage appropriate car boot stock effectively, to help reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and First Time Fix Rate (FTFR)
Effective communication at all levels, high level customer engagement to help manage customer expectations and promote service offerings
Focussed on and help to achieve continual improvements in key service performance indicators - MTTR, FTFR, Utilisation, Contract Coverage Rate, Service Revenue and Profitability
Experience required - Field Service Engineer - Northern England
Extensive electrical/mechanical (mechatronics) experience
IT/Networking (either professionally or as a hobby e.g. building computers)
Excellent attention to detail both technically and in documentation writing
Engaging and customer focused.
Engineering qualification or equivalent (apprenticeship etc.)
Package/benefits - Field Service Engineer - Northern England
Up to £35,000 basic
Monday - Friday, 42.5hr/week, including travel.
Up to 15% bonus - based on company and engineer performance. (Monthly reviews/support provided to help achieve bonus).
