A Field Service Engineer is required within a third party service engineering company specialising in high end, state of the art medical diagnostic and laboratory instrumentation (electronically-biased electro-mechanical devices). This organisation holds a great reputation for the high quality service they provide and is renowned for their low staff turnover and employee training, progression and development opportunities. Although well established and organically growing, this organisation has retained their culture of a small, personable, employee-focused company.
As a Field Service Engineer you would be responsible for the repair, maintenance and servicing of electronically-biased, electro-mechanical laboratory equipment and medical devices used within the life science fields e.g. Haematology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry etc. This role will involve intensive product training and will consistently offer new challenges and new technology to learn long term.
Being a field engineer, you will travel to a number of client sites within a South West England territory. This equipment would be found within a diagnostic or research lab either in a range of clients including hospital, university research sites, the MOD, large pharmaceutical manufacturers etc.

What's required to apply for this Field Service Engineer role?
+ A qualification in electronic engineering (electrical engineering or other disciplines with electronic engineering relevance would be considered)
+ Relevant engineering experience e.g. service and repair, fault finding on motors and drives, use a mustimeter, interpretation of electrical circuit diagrams etc.
+ Previous field-based experience - happy to travel and stay away as the role requires
+ Located within 40 miles of Bristol or South Wales
+ Full UK drivers licence
