£30,000 - £40,000 + bonus, company car, private medical + MORE!

Territory - South East London

A leading manufacturer of specialist medical systems are seeking an experience electronics bias field service engineer to cover South East London with a lot of time spent at Kings College Hospital.

You would be responsible for the installation, service, repair and maintenance of specialist medical equipment such as heart/lung machines, balloon pumps, anaesthetic systems, ventilators, theatre tables, lights etc. Full training is provided for those engineers without any exposure to this type of equipment but have a strong electronics background.

Key accountabilities - Field Service Engineer - Medical Systems:

+ Provide outstanding customer service, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills in a profession manner

+ Service, repair and maintain cardiac equipment

+ Carry out routine testing of equipment to the relevant standards as stated in terms and conditions of the client's contract

+ Carry out electrical/mechanical fault finding of equipment.

+ Calibrate equipment as and when necessary

+ Maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts within guidelines.

+ Produce quality documentation for submission to the customer via approved systems.

+ Maintain regular communication with the internal Service Department.

+ Ensure the company equipment is being used and looked after correctly and that it is kept in a safe condition. To report all faulty equipment or equipment out of calibration to Service Supervisor.

+ Pass all sales leads to the Service/Sales Manager

+ Provide sales leads to Service/Sales Manager.

+ As and when required, produce written reports

+ Accurately submit completed expense claim forms, with supportive documentation, on time.

Experience/qualifications required - Field Service Engineer - Medical systems:

+ Qualification in Electronics - City & Guilds or equivalent

+ Electronics/electrical engineering bias

+ Worked on complex equipment ideally in the medical/laboratory industry - ex-military engineers (RAF, REME or Navy) is also highly desirable

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Able to manage own work load and be self-sufficient
