Would you like to play a key role in delivering Submarines programmes for the UK Royal Navy?

You will be supporting our ongoing Submarine programmes throughout the design phases of the engineering lifecycle, ensuring that we deliver an effective Royal Navy capability and a platform that ensures the safety of its crew.

This role will provide you with a great opportunity to challenge and test your technical skills working on an interesting and unique product. You will also be supported with the career development and opportunities you need to fulfil your potential and keep you at the top of your game.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Undertaking functional design, providing specialist advice and producing evidence in support of legislative, safety and technical requirements

  • Liaising with internal and external customers as part of a technical team

  • Articulating and presenting technical arguments, clearly, logically and simply

  • Exercising professional engineering judgement, initiative and skill in discharging allocated tasks in a positive manner within required constraints

  • Experience in modelling and analysis using e.g. Matlab and Simulink
