Work for a world leader and innovator in semiconductor devices as a Process Engineer. This will involve process development, continuous process improvement, new product introduction, minimising of scrap and reduction of cycle times and provide support to the Operations Teams.
Engineers will work in lithography, etch or deposition teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve production processes.
Process development.
Analysis of tool and process data with continuous improvement based on SPC and 6-sigma principles.
Equipment cross-qualification to ensure continuity of supply and to improve wafer fab capacity and reduced cycle time.
Prepare and review technical documentation of procedures, publish results and provide best practice training.
Education/Qualifications/Skills/Competencies:
Masters Degree in Physics, Chemistry or Material Science
Familiarity with SPC, 6 sigma and similar methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
Ability to work as a part of a team to achieve targets whilst using a variety of communication skills.
Knowledge of photonic integrated circuit manufacture would be an advantage
