As a Graduate Project Manager you will be contributing to the achievement of real business objectives and will work on a variety of projects in order to build your experience.
You will interface with other project managers, engineering disciplines and supporting function within the business. Specific assignments into business functions will be arranged as part of your development plan.
You will be assigned a mentor and a line manager to establish and monitor your development plan and to ensure that you receive the support and guidance necessary for your personal and professional development.
You will gain valuable insight & experience of all aspects of a leading Engineering and Manufacturing Defence / Aerospace Company - after two years in our graduate scheme you will move into a role within the Programme Management function.
Several transformation and continuous improvement actives are planned for our Project Management operations and processes - You will be involved in the definition and deployment of these with full support from the Management team.
Transformation and Continuous Improvement
Support the deployment of transformation projects to improve how we manage Projects and Programmes
Research best practices in Project Management to help the team develop further improvement programmes.
Interface with operations in France to support inter-Company learning and alignment of our practices.
Project and Programme Delivery
The definition, generation and execution of project plans for contracted work, including development, production and research projects.
Support / lead core project activities including management of resources, finance planning and reporting, risks & opportunities, bids for new work and strategic planning.
We are seeking graduates with a minimum 2:1 Bachelor's Degree in a Technical, Business or Project Management subject.
Excellent communication skills
Motivated to drive change and deliver results working within a team and independently.
This role is eligible for ad hoc homeworking up to 1 day a week following successful completion of probation period.
