Hardware Engineer

Internationally renowned innovative, high-growth and world leader technology Company are looking for a versatile Hardware Engineer.

The company in question specialise in the design, development and delivery of information assurance and cyber security solutions for government and corporate applications which hold prestigious accreditations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities -

+ Contribute to the design, development and test of hardware systems/subsystems on one or more projects. This will involve analysis of requirements, architecture, design, implementation, verification and manufacturing support.

+ Interface with interdisciplinary teams including systems, firmware, manufacturing and information assurance.

+ Hardware electronic digital design

+ Power and reliability calculations

+ Component selection, addressing obsolescence issues

+ Writing design and test documentation

+ Performing hardware & system verification activities

+ Investigating hardware faults

Skills and Knowledge required-

+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline

+ Microprocessor/FPGA based systems

+ Power supplies

+ Schematic capture and PCB Layout using OrCAD or similar

+ Use of lab equipment including scopes, analysers and programmers

+ A good understanding of high speed digital design/signal integrity

+ Experience of configuration management, version control systems and processes
