Based in Dartford Kent with hybrid remote working

£70,000 - £80,000 with 10% annual bonus

An industry leader in the automotive/electronics industry that design and manufacture innovative safety equipment is looking for a Head of Supply Chain . My client operates worldwide and has many different suppliers overseas. The Head of Supply Chain is a vital role for my client as you will have 4 direct reports and you will lead and oversee the operation of the demand planning, procurement, import, inventory management and warehouse functions.

Roles/ Responsibilities - Head of Supply Chain - Dartford Kent

You will be ensuring that all the daily operations and process are aligned closely to what my client's goals and growth objectives are. You will need a keen eye for development as you will be providing strategic direction for all the operations teams in the supply chain. This role includes international travel so you can maintain good relationships with my client's worldwide suppliers.

Some of responsibilities:

• Collaborating with CEO and other board members in setting out a clear vision and strategy for operations
• Translate the business strategy into operational milestones and monitor the performance within this
• Lead and coach other employees ensuring productivity is to the highest standard
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify cost savings through looking at continuous improvement for my clients processes
• Mange the entire procurement lifecycle

Skills/Experience - Head of Supply Chain - Dartford Kent

• CIPS or MCIPS qualified or a Supply chain or Engineering degree or substantial experience
• All round experience in the supply chain (purchasing, logistics, planning and warehouse management)
• Substantial management experience within supply chain management
• Successfully achieved and demonstrated in building, managing, and developing a procurement team
• Knowledge of Lean techniques
• Has used ERP Systems
• Excellent knowledge of the supply chain lifecycle
