We are delighted to represent our client based in Denmark. They are a large CDMO (Contract Development Manufacturing Organisation) who develop Bioreactor on behalf Blue Chip Pharmaceutical companies throughout the world.

With superb manufacturing facilities, this position is available as they look to triple their manufacturing capability and are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to oversee and liaise with the Engineering Providers/General Contractors.

Health and Safety Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Oversee and liaise with Engineering Providers and general contractors

  • Review & challenge tender packages with respect to the Environmental, Health &Safety - ensuring obligations are fulfilled

  • Design and provide the final journal of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) matters

  • Support and ensure design reviews have a clear and appropriate Health & Safety focus across disciplines and project phases

  • Review specifications with respect to EHS matters and regulations with the designated CE role

  • Support and assist the Project EHS Team in overseeing and auditing the General Contractors Construction Management team.

Health & Safety Coordinator - Experience and Skills

  • Must have experience in the Pharmaceutical or food ingrediencies industry

  • Relevant Danish Health and Safety accreditations

  • Project experience and references from design phases and preferably an engineering background

  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Danish Working Environment Agency (WEA) regulations and interpretations

  • Self- confident

  • Strong communicator and listener

  • Self driven

  • Outgoing
