Human Resources Advisor
Salary: Up to £26ph
A global aerospace and defence supplier of state-of-the-art equipment for the MoD is looking for a contract HR Advisor to join their Land and Navel Defence Electronics Division reporting to the senior HR Advisor and Vice President of HR.
The role will require you to take a lead on a variety of projects including Organisation Development and Change programmes, as well as working with specialists to deliver Reward, Learning & Development and Resourcing, and other services to the business.
Key Responsibilities - HR Advisor
Working to mature and embed the People Plan, aligned to the Company's People Management Framework
Responsible for giving guidance to the business groups in all employee relations matters, supporting disciplinary and grievances. Assisting and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Providing appropriate functional support for activities such as, people and salary reviews, appraisals and performance management.
Working in partnership with the outsourced HR provider to ensure a seamless delivery of operational and administrative HR service to the business group.
Working closely with the wider HR Team to ensure that a fully integrated service is provided to all areas of the business.
Delivery of cross group project work to all agreed milestone and schedules.
Responsible for the coordination and management of the company's annual service awards event.
Attend weekly meetings with the wider HR teams to discuss the HR agenda and priorities for HR.
Recruitment and Selection, supporting interviews and advising management on best practice.
Skills and Qualifications - HR Advisor
Has worked with stakeholders within a HR environment
Taken the lead on key HR initiatives to identify business needs
Demonstrated a forward-thinking mindset and initiative
Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
A candidate who is CIPD qualified with in-depth knowledge of employment law would be desirable
