Product Logistics Engineer (ILS)

Based in Horsham West Sussex (Hybrid remote working with early finish on Fridays)

Permanent up to £40,000

An interesting opportunity has just come on to the market with a leading supplier of Electronics and Electro-mechanical products/systems for the defence industry. My client who designs and manufactures complex specialist electronics are in need of a Product Logistics Engineer (ILS). You will be focusing on the development and growth of integrated logistics support (ILS) capabilities as well as delivering contract specific documentation.

This will include: Spares recommendations, availability reports, RM&T analysis and Obsolescence reports.

Key Responsibilities - Product Logistics Engineer (ILS) - West Sussex

Conduct integrated logistics support activities such as:

• RAMS
• LORA
• LSA
• RCM
• FMECA and FMEA activities
• Obsolescence management

Ensure service contract obligations are understood and supported throughout the entire product lifecycle

Drive continuous improvement within the ILS function

Key Skills/Experience needed for the role:

• Good knowledge of ILS disciplines in an engineering environment (Ideally Defence)
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to multi-task
• Available for short periods of travel
• Eligible for British Security clearance
