Indirect Buyer - Engineering Environment

A global Engineering company working within Capital Equipment require an Indirect Buyer who will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing Test equipment/manufacturing & general parts/consumable/services for research & development & other department.

This Strategic indirect buyer will be a key interface between Engineering and Supply Chain working with suppliers across multiple sites with the ability to interpret and analyse data. You will have a background in sourcing ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Skills needed to be considered for this position include:

+ MCIPS and / or Bachelors or master's degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
+ Minimum 3 years of proven experience in indirect sourcing and purchasing for an Engineering company with a focus on sourcing of machines, tools, test equipment, capital equipment
+ Understands how to apply Lean Manufacturing techniques to sourcing activities
+ Internal negoitations to ensure the correct business decision
