Industrialisation Engineer

Role: Industrialisation Engineer
Location: Redhill, Surrey (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £55,000

A market leading technology business who are experienced a period of significant growth are seeking an Industrialisation Engineer to focus on developing and industrialising products and processes . Working closely with manufacturing you will develop and implement new solutions and technologies scaling from prototype to high volume manufacture

The successful candidate will have strong CAD skills (Creo preferred but not essential) and be responsible for designing production tooling and LEAN systems implementation

Responsibilities of Industrialisation Engineer

• Identify and implement process improvements that will reduce overall factory costs

• Design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures and tooling for mechanical assembly and automated processes.

• Support Manufacturing Partners Industrialisation activities

• Develop factory Layout plans, including material flow plans and Value Stream Mapping

• Specify and implement new equipment or processes

• Keep up to date on technology and products

• Help develop virtual factory and simulation capabilities

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for Industrialisation Engineer

• BSc or HND in engineering

• CAD Expertise

• Jigs & fixture design

• ​Mechanical, electronics, pneumatic hands-on skill set

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Lean manufacturing
