Interoperability Federation Engineer

+ £500 to £550 per day

Demonstrable experience and understanding of:

Existing interoperability services, including:

• PEGASUS.

• NATO ISBE (NISBE).

• UKFR ISBE.

• Contingent Ops Gateway (COG).

• Coalition Partner Network-Extension (CPNX).

• HYDRA ISBE.

• eJCP.

• Delivering interoperability between and federation of operational services.

• Capturing and modelling information system and service architectures.

• Delivering a complex enterprise ICS solution.

• Coordinating with other teams towards task completion.

• An understanding of the Boundary Access Registration and Authorisation (BARA) process.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and propose new ideas.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Competency in MS Office Suite, including Visio.

• Competency in enterprise architecture tools, such as BizzDesign or SparxEA.

• Hold a current SC clearance and be prepared to undergo DV clearance.

Desirable skills, qualifications, and experience

In order to deliver this service, it is desirable that individuals have:

• Knowledge of the Atlassian toolset (JIRA and Confluence) to record and document work.

• A qualification in a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE2 / APMP / MSP or SAFe4/Agile equivalent.

• A Level 2 (Practitioner) IT Service Management Framework qualification (eg ITIL Practitioner).

• Experience of SAFe4.

An understanding of Military Information Services such as NATO Functional Area Services Applications, UK Base Services and MOD Business management applications.
