Due to sustained growth and the evolution of business requirements of their customer base our client seeking to expand their Project Management capability.

They are therefore looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager with a proven track record and qualifications in technology and business transformation, in particular the Scaled Agile Framework, and associated DevOps and Lean-Agile programmes.

The role will require excellent team working attributes but also requires the ability to take responsibility and accountability for independent work packages.


  • The role absolutely requires the candidate to be a full UK National with at least a current SC clearance.

  • The successful candidate will be a talented IT Project Manager with a track record and qualifications in AGILE looking to build their delivery experience of major programmes and track record in the domain of sensitive and operationally critical systems.

Desirable Skills:

An understanding and experience with the DevOps approach - probably within an AGILE framework.

An understanding of Cloud Technology and modern IT service approaches such as Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service.

A good working knowledge of Wintel IT systems with a broad scope of skills and experience of mainstream IT infrastructure services and components including:

  • APMP qualification

  • Good customer services skills

  • Proactive organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with peers and clients

  • Good document writing skills to support system documentation, report writing and bid work

  • Ability to manage work load for themselves and associated teams in pressurised environments to Time, Quality and standards

  • The ability to travel in main land UK when requested by Business Unit Lead

  • Aptitude to learn new skills
