An IT Support Engineer with experience of Software Application support and SQL scripting is required to join a global aerospace company to support their global customer base.
You will be working as part of an international team responsible for ensuring a 24 hour operational environment across a company voted as one of the USA's best employers to work for.
Role: IT Support Engineer
As IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ Taking a detailed technical view of issues that cannot be resolved at 2nd Line
+ Supporting the development of existing support process and procedure
+ Providing support to a worldwide customer base
+ Ensuring that escalated issues are resolved, root causes are documented and processes set in place to ensure they do not reoccur
+ Provides guidance, support and training for 2nd Line helpdesk team members
+ Working within a 24 hour operational environment as part of an on call rota
As IT Support Engineer you will have experience of:
+ Strong background in Service and Support Management up to 3rd Line level
+ Good understanding of SQL Server resource allocation
+ Advanced T-SQL query writing and stored procedure execution
+ Experience of direct interaction with customers, providing excellent customer service
+ Ability to read and understand C# code
+ Create and manage test plans
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
