Java Developer - DV Cleared - Lincolnshire - £575 - £600 a day

You will join a global IT consultancy who are delivering digital transformation to a central government agency, and use your Java development skills to help deliver a number of critical operational systems.
Work is full-time on client site.

Key Duties & responsibilities:
+ The development of software which is clean, secure, and well-tested code to meet the user needs, using the appropriate design standards, methods and tools.
+ Ensuring a modern standards approach and best-practice guidelines are followed and assist in improving those guidelines.
+ The operation of the services they build and identify issues in production, to ensure they meet business needs and performance targets.
+ The collaboration with other disciplines and users to understand what software solution needs to be developed.

Required Skills for this role:
+ Qualifications in the use of Oracle Forms, Reports, SVN and PLSQL
+ Qualifications in Java Development
+ Experience in the use of Netbeans, TOAD, Jdeveloper, Tortoise SVN
+ Experience in development within a Windows and Unix environment
+ Qualifications in additional software languages (C++, .Net Framework etc)
+ Good understanding and significant experience in the installation and configuration of web technologies, must include Apache / Solar
+ Good understanding of the installation and configuration of proxy servers
