Lead Automation Test Engineer

Location: Gloucestershire, with Hybrid working

Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience

Our client, a market leading Defence organisation are currently recruiting for a Lead Test Automation Engineer who will be responsible for Customer Acceptance of multi-disciplined requirements for Integrated Systems, Hardware and Software installations.

Your duties:

• Producing and enforcing Test and Acceptance Management plans and procedures

• Liaise with other teams to minimise duplication of effort and achieve consistency of quality testing across the business

• Understand the testing requirements

• Design appropriate test strategies, test frameworks and activities driven towards delivering high quality software solutions

• Identify and manage the production of all required test artefacts

• Design, own and manage test environments, test frameworks, test tools and test data

• Lead a team of test engineers

• Review Test documentation

Skills / Experience required

• Full Software Life Cycle Experience

• Proven track record in delivering Automated Integration & Test Solutions

• ISTQB Certified Tester

• Able to produce Test Documentation

• Eligible for Security Clearances, dual nationals cannot be considered, must be sole British
