A Lead Data Management Developer with a strong background working with Master Data Management tools is required to join a rapidly growing team within a FTSE 50 Global Data Analytics company.

Role: Lead Data Management Developer

As Lead Data Management Developer you will be responsible for:

+ Acting as a Scrum Master for a cross functional team, effectively managing a backlog with Product owner
+ Working closely with Product Owner and development team members to understand complex product requirements and break them into small work tasks that can be progressed in the agile Sprints
+ Operating in an agile development environments collaborating with key stakeholders
+ Serving as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibility (Product Master data)
+ Working closely with Development manager to successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
+ Interface with other technical personnel (DBA's, Devops, Architects…) or team members to finalize requirements
+ Acting as change champion to move most of the development deliverables to the Devops model
+ Training entry-level software engineers as directed by department management, ensuring they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles

Experience:
As Lead Data Management Developer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Computer Science / Software Engineering or other relevant discipline
+ Significant experience in Master data management (preferably Product Master Data)
+ Experience of working within an Agile Development team and a strong understanding of agile practices - ideally SCRUM
+ Strong experience leading a development team
+ Hands-on experience of:
+ Talend (ETL tool)
+ Semarchy (MDM tool)
+ Postgres/Oracle database, PL/SQL
+ Java
+ Elastic search
+ Experience with services / APIs and microservices architecture
+ AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM,ELB)
+ CI / CD (Jenkins)

+ Jira, Confluence, Git
