I am recruiting an experienced Linux Infrastructure Developer/Integrator to join my clients existing dynamic Integration Practice to work on solutions for network monitoring and intrusion detection & prevention. My client is an IT systems integrator operating within the UK defence sector

As a Linux Infrastructure Developer, you will work closely with the Network Architects and Project Managers to configure and document deliverables and offerings from a variety of vendors which vary in size and complexity.

Your experience

· Demonstrate experience working on infrastructure solutions hosting network monitoring and optimization tools, both open source and proprietary

· Combine strong technical skills with an ability to review design artefacts and produce the associated build and configuration instructions

· Can modify design documentation to correct potential defects

· Have experience of building, configuring and supporting Linux Environments (RHEL and CentOS) and automating the deployment of changes, enhancements and patching via Ansible at an enterprise scale

· Have strong shell scripting experience coupled with a solid understanding of networking and IP packet structure

· Have experience working in a development/integration team designing, developing and supporting enterprise scale solutions

· Have experience in web-site development using Apache, MySql and PHP
