Based in Southampton, Hampshire (hybrid flexibility)

Initial 6 month contract (potential to become permanent)

£21.43 per hour (Umbrella)

An exciting opportunity to join an internationally renowned FMCG organisation as a Logistics Executive, working within their busy Supply Chain & Service Team based in Southampton.

In this role, you will ensure accuracy of system dates for orders that enables correct planning and stock deployment decisions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate track and trace report compilation for shipments (i.e. containers' status/expected dates)

• Compilation, provision and initial analysis of other Logistics reports

• Manage the update of information from multiple sources (Lead Logistics Provider, Leaf Suppliers, Carriers & in-house track & trace tools) on order level, to ensure that all data and information is as current and as accurate as possible.

• Perform periodic/daily validation checks to confirm data accuracy on order level, report results to DHL (LLP) and Supply Planning team

Experience/Skills Required

• Strong organisation skills, with proven track record in managing large amounts of data whilst demonstrating a keen eye for detail & ability to work independently.

• Good understanding of SAP

• Understanding of process and data mapping

• Experience in logistics is beneficial.

• Strong communication and team working skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel)
