A highly, reputable manufacturer supplying world class ejection seats and safety-related equipment for aviation are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Engineer to work within their Design Support Team department.


As the Logistics Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the performance of Logistics Support Analysis, production of the LSAR and to recommend enhancements that will support products.

Key accountabilities:

  • Produce LSAR data sets by means of thorough product research and structured Analysis (LSA) in accordance with specified standards.

  • Identify maintenance requirements, procedures and all associated support resources necessary for sustainment of the product in-service.

  • Populate LSAR using appropriate software packages ensuring compliance with necessary protocols and standards.

  • Understand customer requirements and end-user's maintenance concept in accordance with customer provided specifications / statement of work.

  • Provide Design team with constructive and timely feedback for improvement in product support.

  • Work with Reliability and Maintainability Engineers to produce an all-inclusive LSAR database.

  • Liaise with Technical Publications to provide clarification and validation of core data transferred from the LSAR to technical manuals.

  • Perform LSA / LSAR reviews with internal departments or customers to validate the data set and to enhance the supportability of products.

Experience/knowledge required:

  • Demonstrable experience in the field of LSA / LSAR

  • Able to use associated computer database system/s

  • Experience with the Raytheon EAGLE product or similar LSAR systems would be an advantage

  • Maintenance plan and task analysis

  • Spares provisioning and parts

Package/benefits:

  • £42,000 - £48,000 depending on experience

  • 9% pension contribution (Increased by 0.5% for every 3% contributed by employee)
