Job Title: M&E Building Services Engineer

  • 40 hours per week

  • 3 months inital contract - Temp to Perm available

  • Based in Birmingham

  • £15p/h PAYE

Our client are a Building Management System Specialist, they are looking to utilise the services of a new M&E Building Services Engineer who will help assist with day to day repairs/maintenance and be proactive in their approach to this varied role.

M&E Building Services Engineer key roles and responsibilities:

  • Undertaking PPM completion to agreed SLA's.

  • Providing a reactive service to deal with issues both in hours and out of hours.

  • Undertaking minor project works.

  • Management of sub-contractors for service and project works.

  • Participating in a 24hr emergency call out rota to cover site requirements.

  • Undertaking water treatment tasks in accordance with the ACOP.

  • Assisting PwC's internal audit team as required.

  • Supporting external audits when required.

  • Identifying continuous improvement initiatives including the saving of energy.

M&E Building Services Engineer will need the following essential skills and experience:

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

  • Strong Numeracy Skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Promotes teamwork and diversity.

  • Ability to deal and interact with multiple clients and scenarios.

  • Demonstrates growth and self-development.

  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, (including outside normal office hours if required) and to have a flexible, service conscious approach.

  • City & Guilds Electrical Engineering

  • Health and Safety awareness.

  • In depth knowledge of building services with the ability to fault find and resolve problems
