Job Title: M&E Building Services Engineer
40 hours per week
3 months inital contract - Temp to Perm available
Based in Birmingham
Our client are a Building Management System Specialist, they are looking to utilise the services of a new M&E Building Services Engineer who will help assist with day to day repairs/maintenance and be proactive in their approach to this varied role.
M&E Building Services Engineer key roles and responsibilities:
Undertaking PPM completion to agreed SLA's.
Providing a reactive service to deal with issues both in hours and out of hours.
Undertaking minor project works.
Management of sub-contractors for service and project works.
Participating in a 24hr emergency call out rota to cover site requirements.
Undertaking water treatment tasks in accordance with the ACOP.
Assisting PwC's internal audit team as required.
Supporting external audits when required.
Identifying continuous improvement initiatives including the saving of energy.
M&E Building Services Engineer will need the following essential skills and experience:
Fluency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Strong Numeracy Skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Promotes teamwork and diversity.
Ability to deal and interact with multiple clients and scenarios.
Demonstrates growth and self-development.
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, (including outside normal office hours if required) and to have a flexible, service conscious approach.
City & Guilds Electrical Engineering
Health and Safety awareness.
In depth knowledge of building services with the ability to fault find and resolve problems
