Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Remote (1 day per week on site in Hampshire)

Salary: £62,000, 10% bonus and £6k car allowance. (10% DV bonus also available)

Candidates must be willing and eligible to go through SC security clearance

Your role:

I am looking for a Machine Learning Engineer on behalf of a client of mine who are a leading IT Systems Integrator operating within the UK defence sector. You will look to be included in a mixture of research, development, and deployment activities, covering state-of-the-art machine learning models on several use cases.

Your Skills:

• Design machine learning systems
• As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
• Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
• As a Machine Learning Engineer you will select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
• Run machine learning tests and experiments

Your experience:

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture
• Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
• Ability to write robust code in Python, Java and R
