A highly reputable manufacturer and supplier of healthcare and medical equipment such as profiling beds, pressure care mattresses, mobility hoists, bath lifts etc. are seeking a Marketing and Communications Executive to undertake a key role in content writing and marketing activities.

Marketing and Communications Executive - Responsibilities

Reporting in to the Operations Manager, your role will involve;

• Content writing for the website, social media, marketing emails and other marketing material

• Developing blog content and creating high quality social media posts

• Developing hight quality written content alongside product specialists

• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice

• Keeping the main website as well as the customer portal up to date with product descriptions, images, and overall information

• Use SEO principles to maximise reach for website pages

• Use tracking tools such as Google analytics and MailChimp to monitor the performance of company websites, social media, and email marketing, and produce reports which drive developments to enhance the visitor experience

• Create internal newsletter

• Assisting in designing, selecting, and purchasing of the promotional materials

• Assisting in organising exhibitions - responsible with the Marketing Manager for all the displays and materials which must be at each individual exhibition

• Assisting in creating product information including specification sheets, manuals, brochures etc. for sales and marketing purposes

• Use WordPress CMS, Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sage, and other company's computer systems

• Use the CRM system to accurately segment customers and prospects

• Taking responsibility for duties delegated

• Representing the Company in accordance with its Ethos as defined in the Employee Handbook

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. Flexibility to work from home 2 days a week. Office based (in Rotherham) 3 days a week.

Marketing and Communications Executive - Experience required to apply

• Demonstrable experience of content writing to a high quality

• Additional marketing experience relating to the responsibilities outlined above

• Good written communication skills

• It is NOT essential to have experience in the medical field. Any marketing or content writing experience from another field is suitable.
