A leading Engineering company are seeking a Mechanical Technician on a contract basis to modify, assemble, maintain and repair all mechanical aspects their complex equipment. In this position you will fault find, evaluate and diagnose mechanical products within a fast paced engineering environment.

In addition you will;

+ Understand and produce high quality products and assemblies from engineering drawings.

+ Ability to use basic power and hand tools to produce and assemble mechanical components and assemblies.

+ To operate safely at all times in line with Company health and safety requirements.

For a successful application you will;

+ Be able to read and understand mechanical layout and engineering drawings

+ Have experience producing component and assemblies from drawings

+ Be aware of machine shop and fabrication techniques
