Contract - 3 months initially- rate negotiable depending on experience
A brand new medical engineering contract is available at a large NHS Trust based in the North West.
The contract will initially be for 3 months but likely to extend and you will be required to assist in clearing an equipment backlog along with carrying out service, repair and maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment.
The rate will be depending on your level of experience.
Duties will include:
Acceptance testing a range of medical equipment within the trust
Service and repair work on a range of devices such as ECG's, patient monitors, infusion pumps, diathermy machines, BP monitors, defibrillators etc.
Checking documentation and carry out other administration tasks as required
Fault finding and repair work
Provide technical advice to clinical and non-clinical staff
Experience of carrying out service and repair work on medical equipment such as infusion devices, diathermy, defibrillators, ECG's, patient monitors, syringe drivers, anaesthesia machines, ventilators etc.
ONC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline (electronics, electrical, mechanical, biomedical etc.)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Willing to work during the current COVID-19 crisis
