Medical Secretary/Summariser

A Medical Secretary/Summariser is required to work for our client who are a service provider to a number of GP Practices in the Buckinghamshire county ensuring excellent patient service levels at all times.

Responsibilities of Receptionist:

+ Accurately code/summarise patients records as diagnosed by the GP

+ ensure accurate scanning and filing of notes

+ Liaise with GPs where clarity is required within the notes

+ Provide additional administration duties as and when required.

Experience of Receptionist:

+ Previous medical summarising experience is required

+ Clinical coding knowledge highly desirable

+ Customer service experience would be helpful

+ Polite telephone manner

+ Professionalism to handle patient sensitive and confidential information

+ Confident user of patient administration systems

This is initially offered as a 1 month contract to the end of March with a likely extension.

You should be able to work a minimum pf 20 hours per week, including early and late start and finish time up to 6.30pm.
