A cutting-edge Aerospace & Defence organisation have a unique opportunity for an Operations Graduate.

Key Accountabilities - Operations Graduate

+ Working with key teams across the organisation, including Programmes, Operations and Procurement to meet the production plans as well as working with and improving their MRP system.

+ Actively support the day to day running of the Tropos system used by the MRP department.

+ Seconded between departments within the MRP team such as Production Planning, Material Planning and Logistics, the candidate will learn how to set up parts and maintain the system using the planning parameters.

+ Interrogate the Tropos system outputs, coordinate and expedite the parts and materials required to support production schedules.

+ Analysis of MRP planning outputs, confirming parts and materials schedules and expediting parts and materials from suppliers.

+ Within the Production Planning team, you will learn how to interrogate the Tropos system outputs, to coordinates and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between internal departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Duties include reviewing and distributing production work orders, conferring with relevant manufacturing managers to determine progress of work and completion dates and solving production problems.

+ Within the Logistics team, you will learn how to maintain stock levels, stocking policies and procedures. Duties include receiving product into the business, what documentation is required (CofC, tensile test etc) and how to maintain locations and stocks. You will also learn how to prepare shipments to other Roxel facilities and Customers, how to decide the type of transport needed and what accompanying documents are required.

Skills and knowledge required - Operations Graduate

+ Minimum of a 2:1 Degree, any subject considered but Technical or Business Management subject is preferred.

+ An excellent communicator with the ability to confidently have discussions within the business and external stakeholders.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
