Oracle Cloud Analytics Consultant

Based in Derbryshire

paying between £600 - £650 per day DOE

8 month initial contract


  • Interpret client business requirements to enable the design, build and configuration of the Oracle Cloud Analytics applications

  • Produce good documentation and communicate in the project specified language (English)

  • Develop and deliver creative presentations

  • Gather and document customer requirements in workshops, meetings and one-to-one discussions

  • Deliver solutions based on standard functionality

  • Identify gaps if any appear and try to close using standard functionality.

  • Where this cannot be done to analyze, document the functional gaps and to draw up options.

  • Write design specifications for identified and agreed gaps/functional extensions to enable an Oracle Technical Builder to develop the solution code.

  • Perform system and integration testing including writing test scripts.

  • Support User acceptance testing.


Should be experienced in some or all of the following areas:-

  • Oracle functional consultant or configurator with strong/good knowledge of the Cloud Analytics application.

  • Knows and can use Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM).

  • Demonstrable experience of gathering customer requirements in workshops, meetings and one-to-one discussions.

  • Demonstrable experience of interpreting the requirements and configure the Oracle Analytics applications to support requirements and business processes

  • Write required documentation to a good level of English

The candidate should demonstrate: -

  • Attention to detail with a pragmatic and enthusiastic attitude to work.

  • The Ability to learn new skills and technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
