Description:

  • Discuss and document Catalogue requirements, and replay to ensure alignment.

  • Develop an understanding of the Catalogue Process.

  • Validate the effectiveness of existing processes and documents.

  • Suggest quality improvements - to improve MSP, customer and Catalogue team experience.

  • Agree a high level approach and set of deliverables to be produced and prioritise these.

  • Work in an Agile manner - arranging workshops to further develop/evolve existing artefacts.

  • Prep and research for workshop sessions.

  • Validate the potential options and present these.

  • Consider proof of concept approach.

  • Incorporate good practice into the processes.

  • Support team in discussions with other process areas.

  • Utilise existing knowledge of ways of working - tools, inter-team working, project trackers.

  • MS Office - Powerpoint to present, develop artefacts for show and tell sessions (between catalogue team and others).

  • MS Excel - document overall plan, key aspects, prioritisation, milestones.

  • MS Teams - to guide the team to incorporate the features (files, notes, planner) to work more effectively, with sufficient visibility to cover inter-team absences and provide proactive board/management updates.

  • Regular touchpoint validation on priorities and progress of deliverables.

  • Ensure there is a common understanding within the team - alignment between Team manager, and subordinates on deliverables and due dates.

  • Provide guidance and expertise to narrow down/achieve baselined artefacts and processes - there is a history of trialling various approaches, without establishing signed off/agreed methods/documents .

Desirable Skills:

  • Utilise established tracker to work through tasks.

  • The current key focus is on developing Knowledge Articles .

  • Engaging with SMITs, Customer Managers and other process areas - ensure appropriate level of engagement and established methods of engagement are followed (problem area was direct SMITs engagement without Catalogue team consultation for proposed Remedy changes).

  • Engaging with 3rd party Cap Gemini.

  • Critical evaluation of documentation.

  • Powerpoint to present, develop artefacts for Knowledge.

  • Report progress on a simple tracker.

  • Regular touchpoint validation on tracker priorities and progress of deliverables.

  • Ensure there is a common understanding within the team - alignment between Team manager, and subordinates on deliverables and due dates .

  • Ensure appropriate reviews of documentation/alignment to published authority processes, facilitate careful consideration of alternatives.
