Payroll Technical System Manager
£32,000 - £38,000 + excellent benefits
Working as part of a global leading aerospace and defence organisation you will play an integral part in maintaining and developing a Payroll System.
Key accountabilities - Payroll Technical System Manager
+ Responsibility for managing and delivering business and legislative change impacting end users, HR and Finance teams, Group Pensions & 3rd party providers.
+ Responsibility for the delivery of System change projects ensuring that solutions satisfy governance and audit requirements.
+ Responsibility for leading the team, people management, coaching, developing and motivating the team.
+ Responsibility for ensuring that the Payroll Teams are engaged in all System related activities or change.
+ Managing system upgrade, maintenance and disaster recovery activities.
+ Responsibility for maintaining Processes and System Design Documents to ensure these remain up to date, relevant and fit for purpose.
+ Ensuring that available networks, user groups, and other 3rd party contacts are used in order to identify and recommend best practice process improvements and changes.
Skills and knowledge required - Payroll Technical System Manager
+ Knowledge and experience of UK Payroll
+ Payroll legislation knowledge, including an appreciation for future changes and the possible impact of these on a Payroll function
+ Experience of payroll system change and maintenance
+ Demonstrate knowledge of payroll system controls
